With a background in social work and mental health, teaching, and training, I prepare women for solo trips and support them while on that trip! As a certified travel coach, I love mentoring women on the journey of a lifetime, helping them find their wings to explore the world on their own terms. I have traveled to 31 countries and almost all 50 states and I get to show women how they too can use solo travel to overcome challenges, connect to themselves, and change their feelings or identities at any time. As a Gemini who feels things deeply, I follow a motto of “do things scared.” You don’t have to wait for the fear to go away in order to do something. I know how powerful it has been to say yes to myself even if I felt anxious about the results. It increased my confidence to advocate for myself in my daily life. I want the same for you!

Alyssa really knows her stuff. I was afraid to take a solo trip, as I had never left my home state, but I knew that traveling solo could really push me out of comfort zone. Alyssa had such a kind, empathetic demeanor and she really helped me get past my fears. She also really talked to me about safety issues that I wasn't sure how to handle. I now have a trip planned thanks to her!
